Life drawing for an artist is like playing scales for a musician… One trains the wrist to a better eye hand coordination  & the mind to observe anatomy.  The entire process of drawing takes on a meditative quality in which the finished piece becomes a manifestation of perception. It is the fortuitous drawing which transcends practice to become art.
