NICHOL PIZZICONI

 

Drawing begins with the sketch. A study observing form in space through quick gestures. A faint line here, another there, each establishing the beginning structure of the human form.

 

Some drawings are fluid, some graphite smeared while others are constructed like an architect’s plan.

 

Each drawing in this selection ranges from 2, 5, 10, & 20 minutes to 1 hour and are considered complete only in that they are no longer worked once the time limit for that particular sketch is up.

 

All of these drawings were made in a little studio provided by the MFDC every Wednesday.
